PEEK Micro pan head screws are available in ‘micro’ sizes ranging from M1.2 to M1.6 and lengths 1.5mm to 6mm.
PEEK Micro Pan Head screws are a great all round fastener for when general applications are required without pre-defined styles.
HPP’s Micro Pan Head screws are manufactured using injection moulding techniques. The moulds have been developed over time to ensure quality within the threads and to minimise the gate residue (>5%) that occurs from the manufacturing process.
A common application for micro PEEK Pan head screws is high end electronics due to the small component sizes, exceptional dielectric properties and RF transparency.
What are PEEK Micro Pan Head Screws?
PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a high performance polymer that is known for its exceptional mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance. A micro pan head screw is a small fastener with a rounded head and a flat top, similar in shape to a cooking pan. Micro pan head screws may have a very small diameter and a correspondingly small head size, making them suitable for use in tight or confined spaces.
PEEK micro pan head screws are therefore fasteners made of a PEEK polymer, with a small rounded head and a flat top. These screws may be used in applications where high strength and temperature resistance are required, such as in the aerospace, automotive, and chemical processing industries. They may also be used in medical and surgical devices, as well as in consumer electronics and other high-tech applications. PEEK micro pan head screws may be used to fasten parts together, such as in the assembly of machinery or equipment, or to secure parts in place, such as bearings and gears.
