Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) flat washers are the pinnacle of polymer washers and are commonly utilised in extreme or specialist applications.
Our PEEK flat washers are compliant with DIN 125 specification and can be used in combination with an array of different material fasteners depending on application. The PEEK flat washers available are in standard metric sizes (M2- M12).
An example application where our PEEK flat washers have been used consists of being deployed between several PCBs to ensure they remain at the correct separation under load. The PCB components were part of a battery powered downhole tractor which can pull fibre optic cables into a oil well for ~5000m.
What are PEEK Flat Washers?
PEEK (polyetheretherketone) flat washers are washers made of PEEK, a type of plastic that is known for its high strength and durability. PEEK is a semi-crystalline, high-temperature plastic that is resistant to chemical and mechanical wear, as well as high temperatures.
