Digital torque checkers, also known as digital torque testers or torque analyzers, are electronic devices used to measure and verify the torque output of various tools and equipment. They are commonly employed in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, aerospace, and engineering, where accurate torque measurement is critical for ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Here are some key features and functions of the Gedore Capture lite digital torque checkers:
Torque Analysing: Accurately measure the torque applied by a driver to precise readings in various units of torque measurement, such as Newton-meters (Nm), pound-feet (lb-ft), and kilogram-force meters (kgf-m).
Display and Readability: Equipped with a digital display that shows the torque values in real time. Display is Backlit for easy reading in different lighting conditions.
Torque Range and Accuracy: 1% torque accuracy within which they can accurately measure torque values.
Calibration and Calibration Memory: Built-in calibration functions and can storing of calibration data to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
Measurement Modes: Multiple measurement modes to accommodate different torque applications. These modes include peak hold, track, first peak, and programmable target torque. Each mode serves specific purposes, such as determining the maximum torque applied, monitoring torque during a continuous process, or verifying torque against a predefined target.
Data Logging and Connectivity: Data logging capabilities, allowing recording of torque measurements over time. Connectivity via USB to a computer for further analysis and documentation (can export to an excel spreadsheet).
Gedore torque checkers are primarily used for verifying torque values and checking the calibration of torque tools. For precise torque applications, torque wrenches or other specialized torque tools are typically used alongside these devices to ensure accurate torque tightening or measurement.
